This is currently the cheapest Apple notebook computer you can buy that’s a brand new MacBook for 2011, and the only Apple notebook on sale under $1000. With a suggested list price of $999.00, Amazon knocks $59.00 off the Apple MacBook Air 11.6 inch  and that brings the Apple 11.6 inch  MacBook Air  price down to $939.94

Usually, I would suggest you use the savings of buying  an Apple notebook from Amazon  to buy more RAM, but the Apple MacBook Air is one of the only notebook computers made by Apple that don’t allow you to upgrade the RAM on so be sure you really won’t need any more RAM in the future for this notebook as you will be limited to the 2GB DDR3 of  memory. If you use programs that require memory usage, you might be better off buying a faster Apple notebook with a bigger display and more memory capacity than what this cheap MacBook Air can offer. But if you’re just using the Apple MacBook Air for home and home office or for a secondary notebook perhaps, you will love the startup speed thanks to the solid state drive technology the Macbook Air boasts, as well as the lightweight and feel only an Apple notebook can provide, making the Apple MacBook Air one of the best notebook computers you can buy today.
