As I’m sure all you apple fans are aware that Apple, earlier this week announced and released new MacBook Pro laptop computer models, as it’s been some time coming and a refresh to the Apple MacBook Pro lineup was long overdue.
Although the processor inside these new macbook pro’s are newer, the memory they take is the same memory as the last macbook pros announced, so it doesnt’ matter if you have an Intel i5 MacBook Pro or an Intel i7 macbook pro, or even a Core 2 duo processor from Intel in a MacBook Pro you can still buy and only need one type of memory or ram for these new notebook computers from apple : and that’s DDR3 PC1066, which I have been tracking memory prices for for almost a year now, if not longer. The only difference in this last batch of MacBook Pros is that they can accept up to 8GB of ram, which means you’ll either have to do the math yourself and buy 2 x 4GB 1066 DDR3 Memory Modules, or buy a MacBook Pro DDR3 1066 8GB Memory Upgrade Kit and be all set with new ram for your new MacBook Pros released this spring
Accross the board, whether it’s a 13 inch, 15, inch or 17 inch MacBook Pro you want to buy – these new models all ship standard with 4gb of ram and also can be upgraded to the maximum memory of the macbook pro’s new standard of 8GB, which I suggest you do. Prices for 8GB of RAM for these MacBook Pro’s has dropped considerably and even Apple themselves have dropped the price on MacBook Memory too so your MacBook Pro 8GB kits will now run you much less than what you would have paid for new 8GB ram for MacBook Pro’s a year ago.
Again, max out the memory on your new Apple MacBook Pro from either one of the reputable memory stores I list, or if you like – Apple themselves – and you’ll have a fast notebook computer from Apple that’s faster than some desktop computers from Apple, or PC Manufacturers.
